What's deal with the firmware and Bambu Studio?

With the recent firmware update and new Bambu Studio version I really started to wonder…

The P1S makes a lot of noise and a lot of nonsense stuff…
Like checking for a barcode to identify the build plate - despite not having a sensor for it…
Unless you get really creative when printing small things the machine creates more poop than print.
The more you look and check the more issues you find.

If the firmware is for the P1S than it should match the provided software.
Sadly it seems the entire slicing part is a direct copy from their luxury model.
A lot of the help pages are outdated or show options for the top model - useless.
Needless to say that the community is addressing a lot of these issues in the Orca sections - BUT WHY ???

We paid a lot of money for our machines but only get second best for the software and basically no working support.
If Bambu can’t be bothered to remove all the slicing code that simply is not supported or just wastes time and filament than at least let us change the entire start and end section of the G-code to remove this junk…

Checking for feature request and long standing issues also shows that thing users request for a long time and quite often seem to be ignored.
Do we actually own our machines or is it more like being allowed to use them ?
