The webshop doesn’t go into the naming of this plate. Could someone please explain whats the dual sided aspect of the Bambu Dual-Sided Textured PEI Plate is.
Well, the sheet has the textured PEI coating on both sides, so you can flip it around and have the same surface.

it would be way too cool for the OEM to have a smooth PEI side and a textured PEI side, gotta get that aftermarket

That would be tricky. The textured plate has a sprayed on finish. Just buy a second plate. Or get a Wham Bam PEX plate for smooth (just don’t use it for PETG without reading their caveats.)

Doesn’t having a sticker on both sides influence the thermals of the heatbed or is that negligible?
There is no sticker on the textPEI plate - it is a very thin layer of special coating.

The Energetic smooth/textured plate has a sheet of PEI bonded to one side, and a textured coating on the other side.
The thermal deviation is minimal (remember you have the same with a cool plate turned upside down to use the engineering plate), and the magnetic force is still more than sufficient.
