Where do I specify a 0.25mm nozzle size?

I just got the Revo Panda as well and was excited to see a 0.15mm nozzle I really wanted to try with tiny prints, but from this thread it seems either very annoying to do, or not even possible, even with Orca? What the heck, why wouldn’t bambu just give us the option to set whatever nozzle size we want? To ensure we only buy their nozzles? Thats’ some ****.

If you send your file to the printer and try to print from the LCD screen, it will give you the error that the nozzle does not match.

You must start the print via Bambu Studio or Orcaslicer. “Send” your file to the printer, go to the tab “Device” - “MicroSD Card” - “Model”, select your model and “Print”. Works for me every time.

Merci beaucoup !

I’m going to explain how I did it, I don’t want to say that it’s the most correct or only way to do it. In my case I have an X1 carbon.
I recommend having the “developer mode” option enabled, but it is not necessary.
I’m sorry, I have the program in Spanish

The first thing I did was activate 0.4 and 0.2 in the bambu profiles

Then activate the 0.2 configuration. (1)
Save (2)
Put the name for your nozzle 0.25 (3)

Configure your bed size

Copy these settings if you are going to use 0.25 nozzle

If you have activated the “developer mode” it will allow you to modify the nozzle diameter (but it doesn’t matter), it is very important to leave the nozzle at 0.2. If you don’t leave it at 0.2 you will have the following problems:

If you send it to the printer’s SD card and send it directly to print, it will not let you either, you will get this error:

If you have done everything correctly up to this point it should appear like the image on the left.
Save the profile with a different name and set the line width of the image on the right.

The tests I have done have been perfect with this configuration.
Create as many layer height profiles as you want always in the max-min intervals (0.05-0.175mm)

I hope it has been useful to you!!!

Hi, after adding/choosing the 0,2 preset at the Printer settings you need to change the nozzle too. You can do this at Device → Printer Parts → Nozzle Diameter.

Hope this helps

Sorry for the slight necro - I skimmed through the thread, and I think it hasn’t been posted yet.

Or maybe I’m misreading the thread - in which case, sorry in advance.

The “create new nozzle for existing printer” dialogue is NOT for Bambu Lab printers.
To add a nozzle to the bambu lab printer, you have to modify the printer settings and add the nozzle. You get there by the gear icon on the top right (of the left hand of the screen).

.2mm works fine. That’s all I use for the .25mm Revo nozzle. So far it’s been perfect.
