Like many new technologies, this one IS fairly easy to setup…
IFF everything works. The slightest snag will snowball intro frustration or worse.
The technologists who developed Bluetooth (in year 2000) thought that their’s was ‘user friendly’. We’re several generations later and it’s finally getting to where ‘anybody’ can use it.
Same with USB. Introduced (AKA FORCED on the industry by Intel/MS) in 1995, it only became usable by the masses with Windows XP (apologies to Apple whose solution worked reasonably well from the start, albeit years later).
