The printer is working well. You did a good job. Thank you and congratulate you. However, I have a question. I’d like your advice so I don’t cause any damage.
There’s a label on the back indicating when to remove a screw (see attached photo). But it’s not a screw that sticks out, just a piece of rubber (hollow?).
Is there a screw inside?
After some research, I saw that some printers don’t have this red label, and that it appears to be an air intake for the laser pump.
yep there’s a screw, don’t do what i did, which is i yanked the rubber out, and then when i did remove the screw it fell into the printer, and i had to take out the rear panel to get it out
+1 I did the exact same thing. I didn’t remove the back panel though, so the screw is still in there. Was it worth taking it off, or do you think it’s fine to let that lost screw live it’s best life somewhere down in the depths?
hahaha well no idea if it’s ok to leave it, but it was annoying me to have it there, so i just went ahead and took it out, it’s a bit of work, but it would be nagging me to leave it there
