Yea that price is kinda crazy.
I’m finding that the DarkMoon G10 buildlplat for H2D differs greatly from any of the G10 buildplates for X10C that I previously tried: adhesion is much stronger at lower temperatures. On My X10C to get good adhesion while printing PETG I had to heat the G10 build plate to 120C. Upon cooling it would often auto-release.
So, naturally I tried doing the same on the Darkmoon PETG. As expected, adhesion was great, but I’m finding that at 120C a PETG print is prone to welding itself to the build plate. Moreover, even after coolng down, it remained stuck to the build plate.
I’m not saying it’s worse than G10. It might even be bretter, but be warned.
Have they come out with the holographic plate for the H2D yet? I found some on amazon but not sure it it will work with it since it doesnt have the code on them.
You can disable the code read in bambu studio or download clip on codes from makerworld.
