Where to post STL's, me a brand new Bambu'er

Since upgrading [to X1] from [baby stuff 3D printer (Prusa)] I get this weekly email forum summaries. Most everyone complaining Bambu about this and that. And this and that. I do not get it. Building my first 3D printer, I had to buy parts and make some of my own. Those days, and recent [Prusa] starting a 3D print was not as easy as now with my Bambu - design it… adjust setting… send to printer. Man, my Bambu “blows my mind” everytime I have to 3D print something.

Thinking… my profile “Printables” going forward, where do I post my designs?

You can sychronise your Printables profile’s with Makerworld.
Choose the option “import from third-party” and follow the instructions.

Well Alice, before you go diving into Wonderland and post your hard-earned work on Makerworld, you may want to read up on the train-wreck that Makerworld has become. Then ask yourself not if you could post your labor but whether or not you should. Makerworld operators are clearly NOT part of Bambu Labs but have more in common with a bunch of circus clowns.

On the subject of the printer being much easier to use than previous technologies. I think you are spot-on. There are way too many whiners out there who seriously are looking at the glass as half-empty. Makerworld notwithstanding, people are not recognizing the achievements of BL on the device front.

I see the folks who are slamming Makerworld as being justified but some of the folks who have been complaining about this filament or that feature really ought to stick with crayons and paper. They have no idea how far the X1 and P1 series have advanced the state of the art in FDM technology. We must give credit were credit is due.

go here and you’ll get what you’re looking for:
https://makerworld.com/en
but as @Olias already said it, make sure you spend a bit of time going through the entire thing, assess the pros and cons, and only then decide whether you are or not ready to share your work on it.

I do not care about whether or not my designs gets copied, alas for a profit. I only want to spread the word - 3D printing is the thing

If such matters don’t interest you, then makerworld is a nice place to be, most of the time.
The website is clean and intuitive and the forum is helpful. Of course there are some guys “here and there” that mess it up a bit sometimes, but overall it’s a good experience and atleast you get rewarded with some points that can go into material or other stuff.

Well, since I posted the original post almost a year ago, not much has changed at MakerWorld. There is no harm in you posting your models there just be aware that there are hoops you have to jump through. Whereas Printables.com remains a much simpler and easier to use interface with fare fewer hoops to jump through. But why not use both and decide for yourself. There is no harm in doing so.
