I have a multi-part assembly (it’s a flat panel with a couple of SVG’s), and I’m having difficulty understanding how the height of the parts affects the assembly itself, and vice versa.
I’m setting the height of all of the parts to 2mm, but the assembly shows a different value. Seems to me the assembly itself should be as tall as the tallest element, which is 2mm. If i change the assembly height to 2mm, it changes all of its component parts (that were previously set to2mm) to a different value (not 2mm).
The answer is subtle changes over many generations, and the fact the egg contains genetic material for the adult bird.
