I am just tired of swapping out the tubes when I have to run an external spool. Not a huge effort, I keep the tool to swap them near by, it would just be nice if I didn’t have to, and could leave a tube connected to the drier next to my machine…
I just ordered one of these from the UK store, I was about to order some spare silcone socks and then thought if they might have some cheaper on Ali Express, and I was right £0.78 for 4 whereas BL charges £4.99 for 4, quite a saving, I also noticed a new holographic build plate has been added to the collection in the Ideaformer store and so I bought that also.
There are some filaments that aren’t compatible with the AMS and some people like to feed from dryers or dry containers and the 4 in 1 allows all sorts of those combinations without breaking/making connections in the tube line from one or more AMS units to use the other filament sources.
It is now. Had the same problem like you for months. Finally they’ve resuplied and I could place today an order for their 4-in-1 spliter, among other items.
The Bambu splitter and it works so well I don’t know why they don’t supply it with the combo. I have PLA loaded in the AMS and petg at the side. Takes no time to load and unload the petg used on more common parts that are one color.
Honestly especially with the x1c combo Bambu should put a y splitter or multi splitter so the tpu and nylon can be used with the holder since they do not suggest using those with the ams.
Then the question is how do you print with tmu and nylon when using 2 ams units with ams multi hub, they should give instructions for this.
