When I do a Flow Dynamics Calibration, Bamboo Studio offers a example of a model image on the screen which is very different from the model that I get when I calibrate and print this filament. In my print I get 11 lines of filament.
After analyzing the lines on my print it’s clear that the best line is the sixth line from the bottom. Would I be wrong in assuming that this line is 0.05?
The number of lines and the step size is chosen when setting up the flow dynamics calibration test. The example shown in the Bambu wiki uses a test setting of a k factor from 0 to 0.05 in 0.005 steps and that DOES NOT not match the example picture given of the (supposed) results. On the other hand, your result DOES match correctly if using 0 to 0.05 in 0.005 steps. Your best result appears to be a k factor of about 0.025 (halfway between the 0.02 and 0.03 lines).
Wow was I off! I input 0.05. To be clear the best line in my print was the 6th from the bottom. I interpreted this as 0.05mm
Honestly it’s a bit confusing trying to understand the wiki page compared to what is printed in the test but I will update this filament profile and do a test print of something. It gets a little embarrassing asking for help on something so basic but I’m glad I did. Thank you so much for your replies!
