I had a item I wanted to print and tried to select the support filament but it wouldn’t let me select it. Guess I need to do something else when trying to create this item. [ Oreo AirTag keychain remodeled](https://Oreo Airtag-color.3mf)
Got this from Makers World. Never tried to use supports before.
If you load it into the AMS it should be seen as a “color” and be selectable.
You will need to select it under the support tab.
Usually you only need it for the Support/raft/interface.
If you click the “default” drop down, you will see what’s in the AMS. From here you would select the support filaments slot. With that done you’re pretty much all set.
You can also use PETG as support interface for PLA, and PLA as a support interface for PETG. Only use the interface as this saves the support material. I don’t believe using PLA Support as the actual support material will benefit you in any way, as that stuff isn’t really strong enough to use that way. Just use it as the interface.
This is the model you’re trying to print. In the support options if you scroll down to where I showed you above you will see this. Where it shows orange PLA used, click on that and select the slot where the support filament is in your AMS.

Thanks, I’ll give it a try.
