Who has a better solution for placing 2 AMS2 on top of the H2D?

I feel this is not a great solution, but good enough for now:

I was just looking at this mod. Seems like it’s the most “clean” way to mount two AMS units on top.

Wow I’m so glad I asked - I searched and didn’t find anything and was going to make something similar (or just use a board  )

Nice find.

Here it is a few days later - recycles the screws used to package the AMS too:

So I don’t need to open a new thread since its a similar question: I would like to put 2 AMS left of the printer. How long can the ptfe tube be and how long are the cables? Would that fit or do I have to / is it possible to order longer ones?

Thanks!

Realistically you want to keep the PTFE as short as possible. I’m not sure if there is a bamabu recommendation aside from the stock length of the tubes but I would try to minimize length and therefore force needed to pull through those tubes.

PTFE can be cut to length. I don’t think there’s really a max length but shorter is better.

The cables are 6 pin Bambu Bus cables. See the following pages for lengths.

These are the older cables but I am using the 1500mm cable successfully with an AMS 2 Pro - Bambu Bus Cable | Bambu Lab USA Store

Can you actually place this AMS-riser to the very Front?
That would be great since my H2D has same filament-shelfs right behind it, that make it impossible to place the AMS anywhere else but at the very front of the top. Ijust need something that raises it enough so that the air wents can still open freely and I can still reach the USB port and the safty button.

I have my 2 Ams on my H2d with this 3d print so far it works great, evan when the H2D starts to wobble.

I have one of these stands, the older AMS 1 version works on the AMS 2 Pro as it has the same number of slots. You can place it beside the printer, one on each side or stacked. Also as its a riser, it leaves the table space underneath still usable.

That model is what I used for my setup. I added some rubber feet to it because the H2D vibrates a good amount. I had the top ams walk a bit and scared me.

This looks like a nice setup. Just wondering how you access the bottom AMS and whether there are any difficulties in doing so. I’m considering an H2D and would want to use this configuration if possible.
