Why bridge on top layer with solid beneath?

Bambu Studio latest version. I cannot figure out why the top layer in this area has bridging. Can anybody help?

Top layer:
0

Top layer-1:
-1

Maybe you don’t have enough infill percentage? How much and which type?

Also internal bridging shouldn’t be a big deal, unless it’s a very wide area

Edit/ nevermind I just saw that it was the very top one, that is strange… is the surface perfectly flat?

I would try slicing in orca to see if it’s the model or the slicer

Thank you. I hadn’t used Orca before. It looks fine in Orca so this is a Bambu Studio bug.

Many thanks.

Edit - any idea where “Support wall loops” setting is in Orca?

In OrcaSlicer, “Support wall loops” is available for only some of the Tree styles, with advanced process settings turned on. There is also a tree support option to double the wall thickness of branches larger than the chosen diameter (3mm default).

Orca and Studio both have a search function to locate settings:

Thank you very much. That’s a shame; I needed it with Normal(auto) Snug, as can be done in Bambu Studio. Maybe I’ll just use Normal(auto) Grid and have more material to remove.

Did you ever figure this out? I submitted a bug report in Bambu Studio github but they weren’t able to help.

Never did with Bambu Studios at the time. Orca worked fine. I was using a fairly transparent material and it didn’t bother the product too much luckily for me. Good luck.
