On P1P, P1S, X1C, I can do a timelapse with NO PAUSING and it works great. On A1, timelapse is useless, because it MUST pause. There has to be a way, to make it just film a normal timelapse with no nozzle interruptions at all. It kinda sucks that I do timelapse all the time on my other Bambu’s, and K1’s, but never on my A1.
K1, P1 and X1 are CoreXY machines, so the printed item is quite stationary. A1 is a bed slinger and the camera framerate is so low if it didn’t stop to take a photo, then all you’d get would be a blur.
TRUE. I didn’t really put that together. the whole model would be moving all over the place in the timelapse… Bummer all around
I’m glad you posted this, I want a feature where it timelapses without moving the print head to the filament cleaner every time, I don’t mind if the print head and bed stops for a split second to take the picture without movement and that it’s on screen. Seems like an obvious feature it should have.
Creality Hi Combo now offers parkless timelapse. Why can’t the A1. I avoid using my A1, because of this, which is a shame.
It’s an odd place that the timelapse of a 3d print is more important than the actually 3d print.
