Bump
I just don’t want to deal with the extra spools. There are probably a good number of valid(ish) profit-driven reasons for using a reusable spool design but not offering refills for most of your inventory. I just wanna use the cool design as intended, and I enjoy reusing otherwise consumable things.
I hate to be “that guy” who necros a year-old thread, but is there really still no update on this? Seems downright goofy to call every spool “reusable” but have no practical way to reuse it (for the interesting materials).
Like @TSC_CAD said, I simply don’t want to deal with the extra spools.
Plus, us nerds are literalists, so stop calling it “reusable” if it’s not reusable. This breaks my brain.
I’m not sure what type of update you want but have you checked the Bambu store? They have increased the availability of refills for most offerings.
The spools halves are reusable, I’m not sure what non-reusable part you are referring to?
Hopefully I’m just blind, but I do not see refills for any variant of ASA, TPU, PC, or any fiber-filled material?
Nope, you’re right that the premium/exotic filaments still don’t have refills. I don’t know if there will ever be enough sales volume to offer refills in those. Guess time will tell.
Reading this thread has brought much insight into what will casue our downfall. We have entitled individuals that demands that all their filaments should be refillable, and it drives them into a rage since Bambu does not comply.
Then we have the environment faction screaming about pollution due to plastic spools.
And each and everyone of them has built a mountain of plastic waste in the form of Benchys.
We are doomed if these people ever leave their parents basements and take power. The mere tonnage of the lack of vision these persons have would stop a span of oxen in it’s track.
