Why have so many features had extra clicks added for no reason in 2.0?

I’m mystified, here’s a few things that used to be visible or one click and are now hidden in an area that had enough room for them already or behind an extra click or both

Printing status vanished from multi device, have to click view now, loads of room to display it

Filament change details mysteriously hidden in an area it has loads of room to show

Fan settings, again, mysteriously hidden and require a click to see them now

And my favourite - the box already has a scroll bar, just make it 100px longer?

There are quite a few other ones too

Why? It’s wonky front end design from a company that appears to value design and visual aesthetics

If you ask a German he or she will say that if it is not perfect it won’t be acceptable and won’t get to the customer.
Ask an American and you get to hear that as long as it works and is build tough enough it will work and no one will complain because it is an American product.
Go Downunder and ask someone from Australia and you will hear that if you can cheat your way out than use this way.

What about China then?
They are global leaders in many areas these days.
But when it comes to products, electronics and software…
If it somehow works then that good enough and there is no need to improve things or to make them easier.
If you can save a few cents by taking shortcuts than please take as many shortcuts as you can.
Perfect example of this approach are their cheap main powered LED lights - often just a single resistor and a capacitor inside but nothing in terms of protection or safety features.
Sadly, more often than not, the programmers never use the software they create.
If they do it is on ‘their level’ - an expert who create the thing won’t struggle finding what needs finding …
There is also what I call Chinese logic.
Good luck making a Chinese programmer create menus and layouts we got used to from western software.
For some reason they have a hard time copying this part while they copy everything else with ease LOL
Mind you though > If you never used something similar you wouldn’t even know what the complaints of those users are about
A bit like the Apple/Android war if you ask me.
Make both look similar enough but ensure that below the surface a user will have a really hard time finding what’s needed.
It is one of the main reasons people end up stuck with Apple products - they won’t learn new ways, same for Android users of course…

I just had the misfortune of changing the fan speed during printing too

Why on earth does this pop up every time?

Are we sure Bambu have a QA team?

Do you think these UI changes were intentional for a cleaner look, or could they be an oversight? Have you checked if there’s an option to customize the interface to bring back those visible elements?
