Why is it always slot 3?

Exactly. THIS is the question.

Even looking further into the design:
If I see id correctly, the motor of the individual slot is NOT the one responsible for pulling the filament back - there is one additional motor directle before the tube leaves the AMS.
So there really should be NO difference in pulling the filament back.

So for now I stay with my theory stated in an other thread allready: There is some glitch in the FW which causes the over-current detection of the motor to be more sensitive when slot 3 is used.

Once I find the time I’ll do the following test: Swap the electrical connection from slot 2 and 3 to the mainboard. If the problem then moves to slot 2 it is proven to be SW …
