This seems to have only just started happening and I’m not sure why, the ironing is patchy and leaves faint holes in the top layer which actually makes it look worse than if I didn’t iron at all
@wizardbynight I have found that the default ironing flow % of 10% is usually too low to remove all gaps on the ironed surface and is a bad choice by Bambu imo.
After testing different ironing settings with Bambu PLA, I found that 18% flow is optimal if you want to remove all gaps but not overextrude too much.
The default ironing speed of 30mm/s is pretty optimal as well so you can leave that as-is.
Hey, yeah I have been using 20% and it seems to have solved it, I just don’t understand how 10% was enough and then it wasn’t! Oh well, thanks for the update, I will tweak to 18% and test it out
