When I’m sending a print job to the machine, it ist beeping loud and long (up to 25 seconds) almost every time. The printjob is working fine so far. With the beep there is no corresponding error message or anything else. Has anybody an idea, why this is happening?
The X1C can beep? My XC1 did never ever made a beeping sound.

As others have said, the printer has no speaker. I wonder if you have it plugged into a UPS that is being overloaded by the bed heater, and complaining.
Well, I believe you about the printer having no speaker, but then … it must be the the AMS instead. UPS is installed, but no action from there and btw different beep, shorter beep and much much more quieter.
The sound I described ist so loud, unbearable even out of a closed closet.

The AMS definitely has no speaker - I’ve disassembled mine to know. I’ll bet it’s the UPS. You’re in 240V-country, right? What VA rating is your UPS?
Wow! I’m beginning to believe you. My UPS is a APC 900VA max 540W 240V. The beep starts right away when the printer is going to heat up all its components before working … hmmm. Sound plausible.

Well, problem solved. You were absolutely right!!! Genius!!!
The printer takes over 1000W for a short time at startup. Never have guessed this. But a close look at the UPS while beeping showed “OVERLOAD”.

The issue I hear, happens to be that the bed heating mechanism routes directly to the mains and has no regulatory equipment installed.
They factor a 15A 120V circuit or 240v equivalent can capacitate the current demand.
The issue being, there is no way around this and you need to find a power supply that can peak above 1000W just to be safe. I would opt for pro-rating as is standard in the electrical industry. Don’t just find 1000w and call it day if possible.
You’re right that it is fed mains voltage, but it is a PTC heater, so as it heats up it draws less. On 120V it peaks at around 330W, but on 240V it can go up to 1000W.

Try heating the bed to 35c. Literally set bed temp to 35. You do not need a print or file ready to go.
Is there a beep? Of no, try heating the bed and nozzel at the same time. If you get a beep, it’s probably your UPS getting overloaded.
Simple fix is to buy a bigger one or preheat the bed and nozzel separately.
That won’t help- the bed by itself is overloading the UPS.
Ok, I thought maybe it was the combination of the two. So, yeah, might be time to upgrade.
