Why is the X1C pricing all wrong?

I was just looking at the X1C pricing and everything seems wrong.

From least expensive to most expensive

  • X1C
  • X1C AMS 2 Pro Combo with buffer
  • X1C AMS 2 Pro Combo with hub
  • X1C Combo (comes with the standard AMS)

Surely it should be in this order.

  • X1C
  • X1C Combo (comes with the standard AMS)
  • X1C AMS 2 Pro Combo with buffer
  • X1C AMS 2 Pro Combo with hub

This seems to be the same on each country’s site.

I guess the AMS 2 pro combo is on sale but the others are not? but yes, why should they do this.

And in general the X1C sits in very strange place in the lineup. Its price is far too close to the H2S, which is the far more advanced machine but doesn’t cost that much more.

I wonder if the X1C will not be discontinued all together now that the P2S will be released

A good reason as to why you should stockpile spares for it while these are still available.
