Wierd ticking noise on z axis

I started getting a weird ticking noise when the bed moves down during a print. This happen to anyone else? In the 20+ prints I’ve done so far, it’s never made this noise.

I just heard this for the first time myself on a print currently running (a hueforge print with LOTS of z hopping) I noticed i hear it on mine every time the bed z-hops, thought I’m not sure if its coming from the bed/z axis or from the extruder which it retracting at the same time, after about 20 minutes it went away which makes me wonder if its a spot on my z-axis I need to look at when its done. I’m printing at 0.04 layer height so all that z hoping with very little height progress might have worn away the grease in a spot on mine, If I get a chance to find a root cause, I’ll circle back (I’m not usually very active on forums in general)

Same issue here has started on X1C, a clicking as the z bed moved up or down. It’s periodic clicking and occurs regardless of height however. Seems to come from the front left z-axis where the bed is attached to the rods.

Anyone know how to investigate further?

I have a similar problem too… for a few days I hear these noises while the plate goes up, it seems like something is rubbing somewhere (maybe on the front left cylinder) at regular intervals. I have done all the maintenance of cleaning and greasing the axes, plus I checked the belt and gears under the printer… unfortunately the problem is still there. Solutions?
