Wifi not working after installing a new modem

After installing my new modem due to a new internet provider, I went to the network options on my X1C to connect to the new network (after successfully updating all the other devices in the house). The old network was no longer there, as expected. I selected the new network and entered the password but continued to get ‘could not connect’.

After trying many retries and account logging off/on, I decided to bite the bullet and do a factory reset on the X1C. The factory reset worked and the new network immediately connected once I put in the password during the initial setup prompts.

I thought that I’d post this experience for anyone that may run into the same issue.

I had exactly the same experience. So I can confirm this.
BTW, I work offline all the time. I have a great connection between my PC and the printer over Wi-Fi, and do not see the need of / the purpose of sending my models out ot the house.
When it comes to accessing the SD card, I either use an FTP client, or just take the card out and insert it into my PC.

I am also like you. My PC is right next to my printer and I typically prefer the SD transfer. However, having the internet connection is convenient for other reasons. As soon as I got it connected, the firmware update showed up and it was a seamless update. Also, I find that the enclosure is so dark that even though I’m sitting next to the printer, I use the video to monitor the print.

Hopefully this thread can help Bambu find the issue and/or it helps someone else.
