It seems that with the X1 series discontinued, Bambu has either decided to no longer maintain the dedicated wiki pages, or the employee(s) appointed to maintain them do not give a damn on doing his/her/their job properly.
Just an example: check https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/x1/maintenance/replace-the-x-carbon-rods
Missing images, missing video guides, missing info, which prior to X1 being discontinued, was there.
Belgium, switching alternately between two major ISP, fiber optic, with and without VPN… I’m going through all Bambu’s wiki entries on X1 and AMS, to save and make an interactive flipbook (as a on-prem backup) in preparation for when those wiki entries won’t be available anymore. And while doing that, I’ve noted that some entries don’t display the YouTube videos, as shown in the first post. Used 3 devices on 2 different ISPs alternately …got the same results. I’ve sent these links to a friend in Luxembourg to see if he faces the same issues. Might be something on my end, but somehow, i kinda doubt it, given that both ISP turned out the same results for the same links.
I’ll keep trying, in case something’s not working right on my side. Thx for checking that link for me. Appreciated.
so it all points to indeed being something on your end - not sure why you’d want to imply that bambu would be deleting the wiki, it doesn’t really make any sense, they can just stop generating new content for it, like any other brand for older products
Do, please, review the title of the topic. It says:
It’s a question, and based on what I’ve already explained in my previous posts, I was simply wondering if by discontinuing the X1 series, Bambu (or someone from its staff) might have decided not to maintain the wiki pages relevant to the X1 printers.
When, and if, I want to “imply” something I usually come out and say what I want to say. Simple as that.
You may disagree with what and how I say it (which is okay from where I stand, as you’re entitled to have your own opinions, like I do), but that doesn’t mean that I will stop saying what I want to say just because someone else might disagree with me.
Again, thx for checking and confirming that that link and videos are still online and functional. Actually, that was the main reason for launching this topic.
Now, I’ll dig on my side to see what went wrong…if anything.
