Will X1 door fit on P1P?

I have 2 X1C’s and just received my P1P, to enclose the printer will the X1C I see in the store fit the P1P? The frame looks the same, just wanted to confirm before I purchase.

You can’t buy the hinges, and you need the X1C front trim panels that surround the door. So without some considerable work, the door will not fit.

The P1P also lacks firmware equipped to regulate the chamber temp. So, something to consider.

I am starting to realize the value of the X1C myself.

There’s a company making a full enclosure using the 3d printed armor plate that bambu supply’s.

I talked with the owner Neil and he is hoping first week of January.

Company name is Clearview plastics.

I also did buy the top and front glass from the P1P and I was able to find a on Thingiverse a way to mount the top glass but I have had no luck on the door.

Btw I will be buying the kit from Clearview

If vwbradyboy is correct about no chamber temperature regulation, should a full enclosure even be used?
Any idea what the Clearview plastics enclosure would run?

Why not?
The firmware does nothing more than activate the rear fan when a certain temperature is exceeded.
This is exactly what this module does.
I will install it the days together with a Noctua fan to get a regulated chamber temperature.

I will use the following parts:
Themparatur module
Fan
DC-DC Buck Converter

More than go wrong it can not.
