So I recently bought the winding music box kit for a project I was doing (I printed one of those piano music box models on makerworld) for my mom’s birthday. Does anyone know any similarly sized winding music boxes similar in size? I’m not sure about the song the one I got from makers supply plays. Thanks for any help in advance!
Are you talking about the movement? If so, Bambu’s look like a standard size/format music box movement and those are available from a bunch of companies/stores.
Some have provisions for pop-up rotating ballerinas, some have special start/stop bars, or special format winders, but the generally follow the same mounting holes and frame size measurements.
How do I know? Recently bought a number of them from different vendors/manufacturers and only one was non-standard mounting because of a non-standard winder. I haven’t bought any from Bambu though but they look the same as the ones that were all basically the same.
