Hi, I had previously assumed the reason we chose a filament type in the printer and also the studio so that there would be a warning if we accidentally sent the wrong print settings to the printer. However, neither the software nor printer warns you when you send the wrong filament type over the cloud/LAN.
I had sent a job that had been set to PETG on the software, with PLA loaded in the printer. The job just carried on and resulted in a poor print job due to temperature error.
The software should warn the user if there is a difference in filament setting between the software and the printer.
