For some reason, BBL shows my “handle” as EX FAN BOY. I have no idea what that’s about. I’m a CURRENT fan boy. I love my printers. I may not agree with everything BBL does, but, at the end of the day, I’m a fan boy.

Tell me about it. I will take requests, provided they are not for your models. Nothing against anything you have or have not produced, just no self-serving suggestions.
I find it difficult to do most things, and finding time to award them to deserving models that fit the criteria forced upon us is also difficult.
I used to write loan processing software (at one point, there was a 75% chance someone in the UK applying for an unsecured loan went through software I designed).
Anyway, working into the early hours of the morning gets boring, and your mind wanders, you invent new and interesting ways to write your name into your address. Later, you forget to clean up. Years later, that company is sold, and the new owners use the data to market to what they thought were past loan applicants as if they had consent for everything (they did not), and you start receiving mail to:
- F&*# head
- Massive C%^&
- Turd for brains
- Mass Murderer
And the postie starts giving you looks.

I think my teenage grandson may have changed my name to ExFanboy after he heard me cursing at the printer one day. But, I say it again, I’m not an Ex fanboy. I’m a current fanboy. Love my BBL!
I’ll try Malcolms suggestions with the account info though I think I already tried that.
PS: Another issue: I’m not receiving notifications anymore about forum posts. I never turned it off.

Some changes happened to the backend that made things go screwy.
I’d suggest browsing the “Laser & Cut Models” section of MakerWorld. There are a lot of awesome designs on there that have taken a lot of time to design but just get a fraction of the downloads compared to 3D models (which is to be expected), and therefore are the ideal place IMO to spend those boosts.
I’ll refrain from posting my own design as per requested, but these are some other awesome designs:

I just love this tealight holder, simple but lovely, does already have a lot of boosts though (only relatively speaking):
C’mon, only 1 boost and 28 downloads? Lot of design work but also uses a lot of material so it won’t see a lot of makes:
And what about this magical creature. I think the leaves are orientated incorrectly, at a different angle they would have been lit, but still no boosts??
So I would suggest anyone with boosts laying around without knowing what to do with it to support the lasercut section. Awesome designs but it doesn’t nearly get the traction that 3D models do on their own, and that is what boosts are for in my opinion.
