The binding issue you’re facing with the X1 Carbon and Bambu Studio likely stems from the introduction of new security features. Here’s how you can address it:

Find the Binding PIN Code:
On the X1 Carbon printer, navigate to Settings > Account > Bind Printer.
A PIN code should appear on the screen. Use this code to bind the printer to Bambu Studio.

Troubleshoot Access Code Issues:
Ensure that you're using the correct access code provided by the printer or app.
Verify that both your printer and the Bambu Studio software are updated to the latest versions.

Verify Network Connectivity:
Ensure your printer and the computer running Bambu Studio are connected to the same network.
Check for any firewall or network restrictions that may block communication between the devices.

Re-bind the Printer:
In Bambu Studio, go to Settings > Printer Settings and attempt to re-bind the printer by entering the PIN code or access code.

Use Orca Slicer as a Temporary Solution:
If Orca Slicer works, you can use it as a temporary workaround until the binding issue is resolved in Bambu Studio.

Contact Support:
If the problem persists, contact Bambu Lab support for assistance. They may provide additional troubleshooting steps or confirm if the issue is related to recent software updates.

If you can connect with Orca, that indicates that the printer is already bound to your account, Go to the home page of Studio and log out completely (usually requires that you log out twice). Then log in again using the same user/password you used for OrcaSlicer

AFAIK, we are still waiting for an X1C firmware update before binding via PIN code will be possible.

It’s been a long while since I had to bind my X1C, but I think I had to restore factory settings before I could get the printer to generate a QR code for Handy to re-bind the printer to my account.

I have no Device to run Bambu Handy . I only have a PC With Bambu Studio. If I cant Bind Without Handy I will have to use Orca Till something else comes available. I can connect to Orca without Binding and can send prints no Problem . But Orca does not have all the new Filaments.

I tried this several times last night and it didn’t bind with an access code, the Bind with Access Code would simply disappear after entering the settings. I tried a few times this morning and it didn’t work. But now I just tried this and it worked. Thank you!

I am having a binding issue as well with my X1C ;(
