I have a Bambu Labs X1-Carbon with the AMS unit and want to print Ninja Flex which I think is just a TPU filament I think. I think I read somewhere the Bambu Labs AMS didn’t support running TPU filament. If this is the case, how can I print using TPU filament? Is there a way I can still have the AMS connected for my regular PLA filament and have a secondary connection to the printer for a reel of TPU and if so what parts do I need to purchase to accomplish this.
Also for ease, do you recommend using Bambu’s TPU filament and just the default settings or can I use the Ninja Flex?
New to the whole Bambu/AMS setup but loving it. Now just need to print some straps for a piece I made out of PLA so here we are. So keeping it simple (until I get more knowledgeable), is it as simple as removing the PTFE tube from the coupler and feeding the external spool filament into that connector or do I need a small section of PTFE tube to add to the coupler first.
I figured it out as once you unhook the coupling there is a small piece of PTFE tube that I feed my filament into. I did have to unhook the power to the AMS as it was just freaking out a bit. All good, now just to dial in the settings for a clean TPU print.
