K, Not the most ground breaking mod ever, but in case you’re looking for a new door handle, this one is up on Printables
The intent is to keep the same lines as the original, but make a bit more space behind the pull-tab part so your finger can fit in there without rubbing on the case or having to pick at it with a fingernail.
Why, why would you want to do this?

Ah, because the original handle was, for me, too close to the frame, so I ended up either picking at it with fingernails, or rubbing/wedging in and leaving marks on the side of the printer.
Might want to add that to the original message. Explain that this handle is further away from the case. I had the same question as @uman did when I saw the message.

Need to make a handle for robot to open door, take out print plate and put new print plate and close door
I think this is a bit more elegant as it uses the original handle, just puts a spacer under it:

I tried both the spacer and your design, and I must admit yours works better with the curved edge. Awesome job on the design! 
I did not realize the stock handle was just plain plastic, i thought it was aluminium.
