New X1 Series Firmware Available for Public Beta Testing!

We’re excited to announce that firmware V01.09.02.12 for the X1C is now available through our Public Beta Program.

:test_tube: How to Join the Beta
To access the beta firmware, simply join the Beta Firmware Program via the Bambu Handy app under Me → Beta Firmware Program.

Once enrolled, the update will be pushed to your device gradually.

:arrows_counterclockwise: Want to Switch Back?
You can leave the Beta Program at any time by disabling the option in the app and installing the latest official firmware version.

Important

This firmware version requires an update for the Bambu Studio Presets. Please check the changelog before updating the firmware.

Can we expect the same situation again, where users who don’t test anything get access immediately, while those of us who actually want to test receive it two minutes before public release — with bugs still present that the instant-access users never report?

Last beta, I received it literally two minutes before you pushed the release, while I was in the middle of writing up the exact bug you launched with.

This is a frustrating and frankly backwards approach from Bambu Lab.

Will the start/end audio function be added to the X series in this update?

Got absolutely zero updates as usual — I’m guessing I’ll get the beta about two seconds before they push the final release again :joy:

Crud. I’ve spent hours trying to shoot a tutorial for this, when I realized the Firmware pushed to my X1C yesterday, was NOT the Beta. Oh well. No SKIP OBJECT for me.
