does anyone know why the printer would keep purging at all after the first purge when printing in a single color?
im not using timelasp how ever i have been struggling with my brand new X1C and AMS constantly failing with not being able to pull back or feed filament. I am using Bambu’s PLA with their reels it came with.
You enable smooth transition in the video recording of the print? It does that because you wanted the printhead to be out of the way, print head moves off it snaps a shot wipe the tip and goes to a prime tower to ramp up the speed again. You might have thought you unchecked it but I’ve seen so many video’s where users apply presets from the previous model and guess what, they all transfer. Also check the blade in the cutting portion of the toolhead, might be time to change it, and make sure the PTFE tubes are pushed in flat and do not have any awkward angles into the buffer, and the bottom PTFE tubes in the AMS should also be checked for this exact reason
thanks for the tips William! I did not have video recording enabled for the print. I also don’t use smooth transitions. the printer has under 13 hours of use so far.
I did print out some guides for the PTFE tubes to see if it helps
Any luck here? It’s been a bit.
I notice this on prints as well. Have you found a solution?
I saw someone suggest turning off “Filament tangle detect” under the printers settings > print options. Haven’t tried it myself yet.
wish i could turn it off during a print it still does this randomly
Mine just recently started doing this and it is very annoying, my 4 hr prints are turning into 20 hrs because i have to babysit them. Has there been any solution to this yet?
Same issue. Anything helpful to pass on?
TIA
Turn the cam off, it does the purge for the timelapse vid file. Turned mine off and it stopped doing that.
