Is there any way to adjust the focus of the camera inside of the X1C chamber?
Mine seems to be focused about an inch in front of the camera. I’m using the textured PEI sheet, and the words “NOT ADVISED FOR LIDAR” are crystal clear. Unfortunately, the print head and the print itself are blurry and hard to see.

I’m noticing that my camera seems to have lost focus at some point also. It used to be fairly sharp but now everything is a blur, all text, the bambulabs light on extruder etc.
There is a focus ring on the camera, removing the camera is pretty easy, they have instructions on how to do it.
I sent a ticket to support, and they quickly mailed me a new camera. Easy to install, and now the focus is just right. Thanks BL!

I had the same issue, camera went out of focus one day, near was in focus but anything in the middle of the plate or past was out of focus. I was unsure why or what happened. Reading the above I did remove the camera and adjust the focus on the lens, three different times. Each time I reinstalled the camera in the cover and back into the X1C I still had blurry focus. I was determined to find the issue today since I figure it is already broken and almost ready to order a replacement. I started by grinding back the cover to expose the camera lens so I could adjust live in its seated position. After putting back together I could now adjust the lens. This lead to the discovery!!! As I adjusted the focus the lens was rocking, pushing up the focus would snap in and it looked perfect!! The mount that hold the lens to the PCB had a failed bond, the whole mount was tilting up and down (down was out of focus and up was perfect focus). At this moment I had added an adhesive the correct the mount to PCB. To note, the original adhesive looks to be a UV cure and was possibly only cured on the outside and not under the mount.

great finding, i’m gonna try this!
I tried reaching out to Bambu support because my X1C camera is focused too near. I’d post an image or a link to an image, but that seems to be disabled on this forum. (Great user experience, Bambu.)
They appear to be done with sending users replacement cameras:
Dear Customer,
Thank you for reaching out to our team.
The situation you described is expected behavior. Since the toolhead is constantly moving during printing, it is not possible for the camera to continuously keep it in perfect focus at all times.
The camera is primarily designed to provide a rough overview of the chamber status rather than real-time precise tracking of the toolhead. Therefore, slight blur or momentary loss of focus is normal and does not affect the printing process.
You can continue using the printer as normal, and this behavior will not impact print quality or device performance.
If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us.
Best regards,
Bambu Lab Customer Support
I don’t suppose there are some instructions somewhere on how to open up the camera housing and adjust its focus manually, if that’s even possible?
