X1C Display touchscreen issues

Hello Bambu Lab Community,

I have some display touchscreen issues since the first day of using my x1c.
When i started my first prints i noticed a behavior where the touchscreen seems to register touches incorrectly, particularly around the middle of the screen.

For instance, when im in a print and the screen where i can move the axis manually is up, it triggers the “move head to right” button and immediately shows me a prompt that says “Manual moving axis is not available during an active print” (could be another translation since my printer language is german).

Another example: When attempting to select a print from the folder menu, it selects the print located somewhere around the middle of the screen.

I suspect a hardware issue with either the screen or its connecting cable.
My attempt to reseat the display cable didn’t help.

Regarding my efforts to address this with support, I submitted a ticket on February 2nd. However, the response received on the 9th requested additional information, which I had already provided in the initial ticket submission. Additionally, I was asked to provide a video displaying the “warranty claim number” on a piece of paper, which I promptly provided. Despite this, I have not received further communication or resolution.

I am reaching out to the community in the hopes that someone may have encountered similar issues and can offer assistance or advice. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Dan

I am having a similar issue as the touch screen is gray/black. When I turn off the power switch for a reset, the screen will flash for a moment as the printer boots up and then goes almost black.
Sorry to jump into your question but so far I have not been able to post a subject.

Update:
It took some time, but the Bambu support sent me a new display and everything works fine now.

Contact the service. Even if it takes some time they are happy to help you.

Thank you, what is the warranty information that they will be asking for. I purchased the X1C from Bambu about 2 weeks ago.
