X1C extrusion issue on far end

I’m experiencing an issue on the far end (front-right) of the print plate when printing with PETG on the textured PEI plate. On the first layer on the very far end for the nozzle (right-front) the head doesn’t extrude properly. This leads to the layer not being properly printed (see image).

I think it’s not a problem with bed adhesion but rather with the printhead, because it only happens at that spot and on two different textured PEI plates.

Has anyone had a similar problem or could point me in a direction?

Details:

  • X1C
  • 0.4mm hardened nozzle
  • Polylite PETG with Bambu Studio default settings

Could your nozzle be bent? The print looks awfully close to the bed edge.

The close up is helpful but not enough to go by.

Please upload the following photos and screengrabs so we can better help you:

  1. A zoomed out picture the “entire plate” as it was on the bed when the print failed.
  2. A screengrab of the zoomed out plate after it is sliced so we can see the geometry of the model.
  3. Click on the model and provide a screengrab of the model dimensions that will become visible in the “Prepare” menu when you select the object. It is on the bottom right corner.

These data points are important to be able to get a better visual as to what may be going on in your printer.

One diagnostic step that may help is to also print a 255x220x0.2mm cube and print that and show us the results. That first layer test will exaggerate and reveal any defects in the plate, or bed leveling.
