I want to switch the nozzles (0.2mm and 0.4mm) on my Bambu Lab X1C printer in a convenient and easy way. I found Nozzles online that can supposedly be screwed in and out of the hot end using a wrench.
When inspecting my stock hot end, its nozzle did not have the 6-faced bottom to apply the wrench on like in products I found online.
When looking for instructions, I only found videos on how to replace the entire hot end, but I just want to switch the nozzle.
Ideally, I want to switch nozzles like in this picture using the same hot end.
Can someone with experience tell me how to proceed?
Cheers
Not possible. The Bambu hot end and nozzle are a combined unit. There are aftermarket hot ends with replaceable nozzles available but they quite a bit more expensive.
For the OP, there’s also the Microswiss FlowTech. Similar to the BIQU but doesn’t use revo nozzles, but their own. Both the BIQU and Microswiss max temps are 300C, which for some engineering filaments doesn’t give much headroom.
