Sounds promising, let me know! Honestly if they do work, and you didn’t mind, I would totally buy some from you
Since they gave you the file, why can’t you call a few local print shops to see if they can print at a higher resolution.
That’s wild!! Yeah my first X1C didn’t come with a spare sticker. . Now recently getting another it comes with a spare sticker and isn’t even mentioned that it does. . So I find it bs of them to not provide one when they’re clearly manufacturing them. .
I probably will need to do that yeah. But I just wanted to point out how embarrassing it is for Bambu Lab to act like sending a sticker out is an impossible task for a customer who spent $1,600 on their top of the line system. Their literal wording on my last ticket was “theorically there shouldn’t be any issues” when referring to printing my own sticker. Thanks a lot Bambu
I don’t get it. I do know that people must be breaking their stickers because its right near the purge line that you have to scrap off after every print
Can’t say I’ve ever personally come close to damaging the calibration sticker. I pull the plate out of the printer and replace it with second plate so I can continue printing while the first plate cools down.
It would never occurred to me to remove the purge line while the plate is IN the printer. The plate always comes out to cool before removing the print and purge lines from the plate. Considering the amount of pressure I sometimes apply to a scraper, I’d be afraid of damaging the heat bed or z-screws.
Same here about taking the build plate out to cool off some before removing the print and purge, cal strands.
If I use the cool plate then I will generally take it off first and remove everything. If I use the textured pei plate then I will use my plastic scraper tool I printed out to just pop the calibration lines and purge line off the plate while its still in there. Its always useful to not remove the plate every time as it saves you having to level the bed every time
Just an update to this older thread.
My printed LIDAR stickers made on my UV inkjet printer worked perfectly.
The PDF file from Bambu is rock solid.
Does anyone have the right size sticker then ? Because the one they sent me is miles off
Whats the right size or can you send me right size lidar sticker please
Make sure you are printing the sticker at 1 to 1 scale, not “fit to sheet” or something else.
Hi, could you Upload the file via file.io?
Would be awesome instead of waiting for Bambu Lab support.
this is good to know thank you
The attached JPG earlier in the thread will work just fine as well. Just have it printed at highest resolution on your printer
can you print me a few and ship them to me? ill gladly pay you
