Hello, my printer has been making strange vibration noises for the past few days. I have already cleaned the linear guides, adjusted the belt tension and checked all the screws on the print head. Unfortunately I cannot find the reason. The noise comes on any surface, even if the printer is on a solid floor
Looks like it is skipping around on the infill based on the corresponding print head movement, which is common with grid but not with the gyroid that it looks like you are using. Is your nozzle bent?
Definitely interested in hearing about what Bambu comes back with on your case.
Bl Support:After conducting further analysis, it has been determined that the issue you are experiencing is normal and is related to the gantry’s operation.
Hi, I had exactly the same sounds, that scraping metal sound like near the Y rods. I think it’s the bearings. My printer was 3 months old and they replaced it. The noise was gone on the new printer BUT unfortunately the same metal scraping sound appeared like 2 weeks after using the new printer. Very weird, case is still open. Also the first response was, clear the rods, belt tension, I did all the videos’s for cleaning etc. The bearings are self lubricated so use enough IPA. But no help. Also when printing gyroid infill, like u, the sound is very strange and sounds like something is loose / scraping near the gantry.
Regards,
Peter
Hi there, I’m new to 3d printing and I have been having the same issue like yours with that buzzing noise from the axises. My P1S is only 1 week old. Should I be concerned? And have they replied to you yet ?
