X1C Nozzle Error Message

When I try to print anything on my X1C it shows an error message stating “Printing PLA material with nozzle may cause nozzle damage. Please fix the error above otherwise the printing can’t continue”

I’m not sure how to fix this, as the as my 0.4 nozzle has never prompted this, as well as it isn’t clogged or any thing like that.

How do I fix this?

Im having the same issue. Printing same things as 3 moths ago, with same settings and now getting the error message.

Also getting this error message when sending file from Bambu Studio. I tried resending my last successful printed file and it wont go, but I can re-print it if I select it from the machine.

I had success with this work around:
Changed “Print” to “Send” in Bambu studio and then started print on the machine off the SD card.

Same issue, started yesterday. I think an update happened that screwed things up as i was printing normally 3 days ago.

not everyone has sd cards so this is only a specific workaround

Updated Bambu Studio to the newest version today, and things seem to be working now. Im somewhat sure, i had latest version earlier.

(in Bambu studio, click arrow next to “File” in top/right corner → Help → Check for update, download and install it.)

Hello, I just had the same error. I fixed it by going to the Device Tab in the Bambu Slicer, navigating to Printer Parts, and selecting nozzle. I then selected my nozzle type and size which had apparently been left blank after the recent update. I hope this fixes your issue too.

I am getting the same error too. Worked fine last night. Zero changes. Won’t work this morning.

The issue that I had has been resoveled, by updating my X1C printer, Bambu Handy, as well as the latest software version on my computer. I think that the issues i was having was because my computer and printer weren’t on the latest updates. For some reason.

Thanks,
This worked for me.
Not sure why is was suddenly an issue.

This error happened to me after updating to Firmware v 01.09.01.00. Re-selecting the nozzle as described above fixed it. New firmware must have blanked out the value. No need to fiddle with SD cards.

Thank you! This worked. It had been changed to just stainless steel instead of hardend.

Re-selecting the nozzle didn’t do anything for me. I updated the slicer software and everything is working fine now.

Great Solution. Have you submitted a ticket to Bambu, letting their team know that the update has this issue? If not, it will likely continue to be a blank setting on future update sets. If you have sent it to them, I don’t want to inundate them, but if you haven’t, I am happy to log the ticket.

Awesome job on the find…it is completely counterintuitive that I can set on the Prepare page “Bambu Lab X1 Carbon 0.4 nozzle” and have another setting added via update that would allow one setting to contradict the other. Bambu should have linked the setting you found in the update to the Printer Definition dropdown on the Prepare page.

Thank You,
