so I’ve been having problems with Marge prints, ending up with missing parts of layers at random spots. I printed again it won’t happen again again in the same spot if it happens at all.
interesting enough. I can put two items on the same bed, and it will only happen with one of them.
I’m looking to figure out what I need to do. What could be the issue? Thank you!

I had the same problem with my X1C (1 year old) and found that it was caused by the extruder gears wearing out. I then replaced the “Hardened Steel Extruder Unit” and now everything works great again. Anyway, I suppose I could have replaced just the single “Hardened Steel Extruder Gear Assembly” for less than half the price.
