Hi! I am new here!
I recently got an X1C and it crashed itself into the left side of the printer. Now, it only moves forward and backward, and not left and right. When I click the home button, it makes a whole lot of noise trying to get off, and when it finishes, it says the build plate is in the wrong spot, which is incorrect, because it’s a problem with the head.
I think it’s something to do with the belt inside.
What should I do??
If you turn it off, can you move it left-right by hand?
I can’t move it left/right, but I can only move it forward/backward by hand.
Sounds like something in the head might be jamming the axis or one of the gantry pulleys is jammed.
Is it under warranty?
Maybe send support a ticket to see their comments.
I think that’s it, but how should I fix it?
The wiki has a step by step guide to take apart the carriage. It may be tough with the head all way to one side.
