My X1C has been working great for weeks!
After each print I turn off the printer physically.
It’s probably been off for about a week now.
Today I turned it on, all the fans started ramping up/down, the aux fan seems to be running full tilt, the AMS is not detected (double-flash from red LED), and I can’t seem to get it to do anything.
It’s detected in Bambu Studio and I can view the camera feed and see that the AMS is not detected.
I’ve check all the AMS bus cables and even the internal PCB ones; all looks good.
I’ve cut a ticket to Support, but wanted to check with the community if anyone has seen this.
Right now, it’s sitting here and just ramping fans up/down and seems to be stuck in a self-test loop; no movement from hot end or build plate.
I don’t mind doing a factory reset if that’s what’s needed, but a bit bummed out as my wife had a request and was excited to have a cool print.
You can start trouble shooting here.

I would try powering off the printer then disconnecting the AMS and powering the printer on, let it boot fully then power the printer off. With all of the filament removed from the AMS, try reconnecting it to the printer and powering it on again. Or, reconnect it while the printer is on which is how you attach additional AMS units. This may make it recognize the AMS.
