I’ve always had a problem with my X1E and ABS filament where the chamber fan never shuts off after a print. I’ve tried adding code to the filament end profile and the machine end profile with no success. The last line of the g code is to turn on the chamber fan to 70%. It does not do this with other filaments. After further digging, it is related to the Air filttration enhancement box being checked in the printer profile, but still only a problem with ABS.
Anybody else have this problem and figure it out? Latest firmware and latest version of bambustudio. Currently using Win11 but did it with old computer and Win10 also. Thanks
Looked into this some more and it was the the Complete Print setting in the cooling tab for the ABS profile that was causing the fan to be turned on and stay on. I changed that to 0% and the fan no longer ran after the print. I wanted it to run for a little bit after the print though so I added two lines to the Filament end G-Code to have it run for 5 minutes and it seems to work.
