Connection in LAN mode via access code.
This works in Orca slicer v2.3.0 but not in BambuStudio.
IT has already ‘blessed’ Bambu studio with no account/cloud access so it would be nice to not need to re-start that process with Orca since they’re pulling the network .dll with Bambu.
I do wonder why would you need Bambu’s Studio over OrcaSlicer, when the later performs way much better than the former, and also provides way more options and controls and definitely less problems than Bambu’s Studio?!?
Mostly due to using it at work and already having IT ‘bless’ Studio - I’m just annoyed that support for their nominally ‘enterprise’ X1E has dropped off heavily.
“vendor software” is usually the preferred IT solution if we can use it rather than the open sourced things (like Orca) - which take additional rounds of negotiations to bring in.
Did You manage to resolve issue? We just hit exactly same problem - BambuStudio cant connect to printers while ORCA connects.
Nope - still no dice connecting in BambuStudio - no firmware updates or other indications that the X1E is at all enterprise level…
