X1E Hotend

Were you able to verify if using the P Series hotted with the Ceramic Heater for the X1E works?

On my X1E, I use

  • Bambu Lab Ceramic Heater for Hotend - X1E Series
  • Hotend with Nozzle (X an P series are apparently the same)
  • Cooling Fan for Hotend - P1 Series

for assembling a complete hotend.
The last two items are available in the Bambu Lab Store. I checked the manufacturer’s part number on the cooling fan which came with my X1E and the one I got from the Bambu Lab store (“P1 series exclusive”), they are identical.

Beware, when replacing X1E’s TH mainboard and extruder connection board.

I reached out to support after printer was reading 205 C on toolhead and they sent new TH board and connection board.

In my case the new connection board that Bambu sent was faulty and resulted in temperature reading going down to 0 C after device power on. Installing an old connection board along with new main board resolved temperature reading issue.

I can see at least 2 dealers in CZ who offer complete hotends for X1E - “majkl3d” and “richvalsky” both with .cz domain

X1E-I had the same issue. The print seemed like the filament was coming out cold or not flowing good, so I took a look at the hotend and found that the cables were not completely seated in the board. I pushed them in and everything was fine except for the fact that it clogged the nozzle up pretty good, so I decided to change the nozzle, and it is working great now.

I did not have a complete hotend, but did have the bare hotend, so I used existing fan and ceramic heater.

since I have an X1C and X1E, I don’t know if the hotend I installed came from which, but it worked.

I only have hardened hotends and they looked and went together like they were the same.

I do plan on purchasing a couple more complete hotends and found that 3D Universe has them in stock.

I can post this now, since I just ordered them

I had the same issue. What part did you change? I swapped the complete hotend with a working printer and I am getting the same error so I don’t think it is the hotend. Thanks in advance.
