I received my new X1E yesterday, and finally set it up this morning. Of course, I’m keen on testing filaments that should benefit from the chamber heater, so I loaded up a spool of NylonX and got to it.
Right out the gate, I noticed an issue - old NylonX profiles I’d created for my X1C weren’t listed when selecting the filament type in the AMS settings. I thought this was strange, so I went ahead and deleted all my old profiles, verified they were no longer available for assignment in the X1C AMS settings, and created a new one copying PA-CF settings to start, and selecting all the relevant printers in the preset targets at the bottom of the window (X1C and X1E, nozzle sizes 0.4, 0.6, and 0.8).
The profile is now available in the X1C’s AMS filament assignment drop-downs, but as before, it isn’t visible in the X1E’s AMS settings.
Printer was immediately updated to the latest firmware upon startup (OTA 01.00.02.00), Bambu Studio is the latest version (1.8.4.51), and both the printer and Studio have been restarted multiple times.
I’ve searched for relevant bug reports but haven’t seen one yet. If I’m missing something here, please enlighten me.
