Is there a reason the .6 nozzle printer system profiles are limited on x2d compared to x1c?
I use .6 nozzles most of the time. I use them on x1c and wanted to use then on x2d. Large functional parts. The goal is to print them as fast as possible. Using .42 layer height system setting while using .6 nozzle is part of the value of using .6 nozzle.
This strategy works as expected on x1c. The x1c has 5 system profiles going all the way to .42 layer height. And using the .42 layer height on x1c offers predicable speed increases for given shapes.
However on the x2d on a .6 nozzle only offers 3 profiles and stops at .3 layer height. and overall speed advantages are elusive. at least for me
I have tried to create a .42 layer height in a new profile mimicking the x1c settings. But I am not confident I have made all the necessary changes. Afterwards, I am not seeing speed advantages like I do with .6 nozzle on x1c. Again I assume this is a mistake I am making on my end in the custom settings, I am being forced to create.
For now I have decided to remove the HF .6 nozzles on x2d and go back to .4 default nozzles.
Where is the .42 layer height on x2d?
