I just swapped out my P2S for a X2D.. Previously with my P2S, I received ZERO errors from Assistant regarding “Feed Resistance”. Now, every single AMS into the X2D I am receiving the error for main nozzle. The only difference I can think of is the FTS(Track Switch). Has anyone else sen these pop up when moving from a P2S to X2D?
There’s a lot going on g on with all of the PTFE tubing in the X2D. If you get a lot of the feed resistance errors, then you can check your tubing for angles that could put a lot of resistance as the filament gets pushed through it.
same issue on my side, filament feeds fine thru all the tubing until it reaches the FTS, appears to me like there is some friction inside the FTS that adds too much resistance to the filament
Just looking at the track switch makes me think about excessive feed resistance in a system that is already hyper-sensitive without a track switch in-line.
I had the same issue. Positioning of the PTFE tube inside the FTS seems not very precise. After deburring the ends of the tubes using a 2,5mm center drill (by hand) solved this issue.
I push on the ring that holds the PLA on the FST and pull on the PLA and it will not will not release?
I am also having issues. But only on the auxiliary extruder side. I have an ams 2 and an ht and feeding the main extruder is fine. I remember when using the external spool for the auxiliary it was really tough to feed to the auxiliary. That last bit into the extruder I really had to push harder.
