On my X1 Carbon, whenever the printhead moves to the back with any speed, it makes this strange clicking noise (see linked video). It happens when printing as well, not just when it is manually moved. I can’t imagine it’s good for the health of my printer or the quality of my prints.
I believe it’s one of the XY Tensioner Idler Pulleys, but I’m not sure. Does anyone have any experience with this problem, know what might be causing it, or have a solution?
Thanks in advance!
Just to get it out of the way, have you run both the printer self test and the printer calibration routines with all options enabled?

Didn’t even know that was a thing! Just ran it, and it just said “complete” and nothing else. I did hear whatever it was clicking a little bit during the test, though.
Any update? Same exact thing here. Wonder if normal.
Sorry for not getting back to this! I lubricated the pullies in the back upper right, and that seemed to fix it.

這問題跟我一樣~這疑似是Y軸光軸培琳損壞(官方也是這樣判定)~我目前也無法解決~我想自己更換培琳~但目前無法知道如何拆解~官方是要上總成整套換掉的~
