Y-axis noise

Good evening, I have a big problem with squeaking which can be heard very well in the video. I have already cleaned the carbon rods and tightened the belt again but the noise is still there.

the printer prints very well and the quality is good but the noise is horrible while printing.

I have the impression that the problem comes from the Y axis and the bearing pulleys on each side of the printer.

the noise only occurs in the middle of the guide rods, nothing in front and behind…strange.

could you help Me ?

I have the exact same thing on my P1P. Any luck with this yet?

any answer or help?

Same sound on mine, but still not found the solution.

I would raise a support ticket for this. I am currently awaiting a new X1C in the mail due to this issue.

My printer displayed this behavior out of the box and I raised a support ticket in August after 1 week of ownership. I never requested a printer replacement but just described the issue and kept sending the videos and printer logs as requested. All the while I kept printing on the X1C with success but with a lot of noise and crazy sounds! Mainly the noise came when doing circular motions with a Y axis sweeping acceleration.

At one point I started having more issues with prints and eventually after Bambu looked through over 350 hours of printer logs, they offered to replace my machine due to suspecting a linear bearing failure that they said cannot be fixed by the user. I was never demanding in my approach and although Bambu was slow, they eventually made the call themselves to offer me a new printer if I returned the old one at their expense.

If I should make an educated guess, I think Bambu is very interested in getting their hands on the printers that display this issue so they can ensure these bearings do not fail in this way in the future as I suspect it is one of the most expensive issues to fix.
